EMPOWER BOOTH: Glamazon Activation with Legacy Fatale
Curated by Anita Durst
Fabric, plastic, foam board and costumed dancers
During the Gala of the Chashama Foundation, the audience was invited to become part of my installation holding sculpted custom lightning bolts and halo circles surrounded by my costumed performance troupe Legacy Fatale. Striking poses as they are being empowered, the public is becoming the performer. The final formations are exploring a collective unconscious relationship with our inner hero. Photographs were given to the public as an artifact of their glorified momentary status.

EXCAVATION CAVE
Acrylic painting and silk screen on canvas, photography, lights, wood.
What if women where the first creator, the first artists? What if the inscriptions on the walls of Paleolithic caves where those of women? Would that change our perception of history today? This installation calls for historical revisionism, reclaiming a female principle within a history of art and iconographic content drawn from the profane and the sacred, the seductive and the shattered, the light and the dark.
